Know Your Headache: Targeted Treatments for Relief

Did You Know...

All types of headaches have one thing in common — they are not "normal" to deal with frequently. The most commonly experienced types of headaches are migraine, tension, and cluster headaches.

Approximately half of those who experience headaches attempt to treat themselves, and this could be why many aren't aware of the non-invasive, natural treatments available that don't involve frequent use of over-the-counter meds.

It's important to identify the type of headache you're experiencing to determine the best treatment options. For instance, migraine and tension headaches are the most frequent but their triggers and symptoms can differ quite a bit.

Why It Matters

Migraine headaches throb on one side with light/sound sensitivity, nausea, and visual issues. Tension headaches cause a tight band-like dull pain with muscle tension. Cluster headaches are recurring, lasting 15 min-3 hrs, with stabbing pain on one side, along with eye redness, tearing, and nasal congestion.
